I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy playing baseball, hiking, and studying history when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in history from Brandeis University. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in biology, physics, geography, and math, amongst other things. I also have my masters degree from Columbia in nutrition. Currently, I'm working as an emergency medical technician and am in the process of applying to medical school. My tutoring experience dates all the way back to high school, where I helped fifth grades after school with their homework. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students in respect to age and education level. I strive to help all of my students find their own breakthrough moment, where they finally grasp something they've been struggling with. To facilitate this, I offer individualized lesson plans that target the specific areas of weaknesses my students have. I'm excited to develop a plan for you and help you find success.
